Tastes great, less filling

June 30, 2006 · 1 Comment

I just read an article about a new soy/meat hybrid for reluctant omnivores who just won’t give up the meat thing, but want to be healthy. I’m still going to stay 100% vegetarian, that’s not the point. The point is that the article uses two words that I like individually, but are horrible when combined. “Mouth” is a good word, it makes me think of kissing and eating, two of my most favorite activies. “Feel” is also a good word, conjoring images of Pat the Bunny, emoting, and getting to second base. But put those two words together, and you create the most hideous concotion of the English launguage ever. Mouth Feel? It’s ever worse than the combination the words “president” and “bush.” Anyone else have an example of two great tastes that don’t taste great together, wordwise? Comments, please.

I would say “FAT FREE ICE CREAM”. If you don’t want the fat, then skip the ice cream. Have an apple instead.
